The main season is the summer months from May to September, when the temperature is consistently above 20 degrees. With an extensive coastline of over 350 km, Burgas offers beautiful bays and sandy beaches, especially for seaside vacationers in the summer. The geographical location attracts visitors from all over Europe and Asia: In addition to several nature reserves and the surrounding lakes, the Black Sea area is characterized by historical buildings and cultural features. The four large lakes include Lake Mandra as well as the somewhat smaller Lake Burgas, where numerous bird species have settled.
