The climate year of France
France is located in the temperate climate zone. Due to its special location, the country has different weather conditions. In the west, the climate is influenced by the harsh weather on the Bay of Biscay. This bay of the Atlantic Ocean is characterized by strong swells and storms. In the east, the weather is influenced by the border with the Mediterranean Sea. Therefore, the climate here is rather mild, but rainy. The weather in the interior of France is influenced by the relief. While continental conditions prevail in the northeast, the south is characterized by a maritime west-side climate.
