Istria belongs to the areas of Europe with the longest sunny days and the season starts already in May. Three winds determine the climate: Bura, the northeast wind, provides sunny days in summer Jugo, a warm south wind that brings rain Maestral - the wind from the west brings a refreshing breeze in the afternoon In Pula everyone can find the right beach for sunbathing and swimming. General information about Pula

During a tour of Pula, the visitor will come across many Roman monuments, for example, the Triumphal Arch of the Sergians from the 1st century BC or the most famous and important sight, the Arena, where gladiator fights used to take place. Between the double gate and the Giardini square, there are still preserved parts of the city walls from ancient and medieval times. The Corinthian style triumphal arch is decorated only on the west side, as the other side was not visible. Today it hosts various cultural events, such as theater and music. Also worth seeing is the Temple of Augustus, dating from the 2nd to the 14th century AD, and the Archaeological Museum of Istria (AMI) with the double gate Porta Gemina as an entrance to the main building of the museum.
