South Korea consists largely of forested mountains in the east and flat plains in the south and west, where much of the population lives. In autumn, the whole country shines in golden colors, while in spring the cherry blossoms wrap South Korea in a pink cloud. In winter, on the other hand, South Korea is a true paradise for skiers with cold temperatures and dry weather.
