The fountains are staged in the evening by interesting color plays. 18 kilometers from Varna is the ancient rock settlement Pobiti Kameni and near the Nature Park Gold Beach is worth visiting the historic Alajak Monastery.

The weather in Varna is influenced by the different seasons and the Black Sea. From April it starts to be spring. The weather is characterized by more sunshine and milder temperatures than in winter. During the day in April the thermometer can rise to 15 degrees and from May to 20 degrees. However, precipitation is more frequent than in summer. On average, it can rain 10 days a month. April is considered the rainiest month of the year in Varna. In summer temperatures rise to 30 degrees and at night it hardly gets colder than 18 degrees. There is very little rain in summer. On average 4 days a month precipitation is to be expected. The water temperatures of the Black Sea are around 20 degrees and can rise to 22 degrees in August. Even the autumn offers vacationers some warm days with just below 20 degrees. From November onwards it becomes cooler, windy and rainy. Temperatures drop below 15 degrees. Winter can be chilly. In January and February temperatures around 0 degrees or even light frost are possible and it rains frequently. But even then you can have a good rest. Varna is worth a trip at any time of the year.
