Zanzibar consists of several small islands and is called an archipelago. Unguja and Pemba are therefore the two main islands of Zanzibar. The archipelago is located in the Indian Ocean, more precisely near the coast of Tanzania. The two main islands are also called Zanzibar, so to speak. The temperatures on Zanzibar are characterized by a tropical climate. Zanzibar therefore also has the typical rainy and dry seasons. The coolest seasons are from June to August, but the other months are particularly dry and tropically warm. The significantly hot months in Zanzibar are January and February. However, the steady winds and fresh sea climate bring a decent breeze. Therefore, the hot months are also suitable for a vacation. The water temperatures are also suitable for a year-round beach vacation. However, the rainy seasons should be taken into account. In September, on the other hand, the night temperatures drop and the humidity is also lower in Zanzibar. All around the temperatures are mild and for a vacation time in principle each season is suitable; consider the rainy season and the tropical vacation can begin.
